The Britax-Romer Advansafix i-Size in Golden Cognac is based on the award-winning Britax-Romer Advansafix IV R but goes one step further when it comes to your child's safety. Alongside its i-Size R129 approval, Advansafix i-Size also offers extended harnessing up to 21kg for toddlers in addition to the XP-PAD for older children.

Advansafix i-Size offers you the ability to keep your child in the safety of a 5-point harness up to 21kg, giving them the heightened security of a 5-point safety harness for much longer than with traditional seats.

Advansafix i-Size offers your little one maximum comfort and ultimate flexibility. Featuring the Flip & Grow function, Advansafix i-Size allows you to change from the integrated 5-point harness to your car's 3-point seat belt quickly and easily. The Flip & Grow function lets you adjust the headrest, and stow the harness safely away in the backrest. After this, you can simply switch the Flip & Grow adjustment plate so that the SecureGuard is above the seat, and you're ready to get going! Additionally, if you need to switch the seat back, then you can do that quickly and easily because no parts need to be removed from the seat when changing stages. 

Patented Britax-Romer protection

Advansafix i-Size features the patented Britax-Romer Pivot Link ISOFIX System that provides your child with an even higher degree of protection in case of impact by directing the force downward in the first instance, then forward more gently to greatly reduce the risk of head and neck injury. 

Advansafix i-Size also features soft neoprene performance chest pads that fit comfortably on your child's chest to reduce their movement in the event of a collision and add even greater comfort to their 5-point harness. The chest pads can also be easily removed without disturbing the harness at all. The Advansafix i-Size features a shock-absorbing foam pad designed to prevent the impact of your child's chin on their chest by absorbing up to 30% of the energy.

SecureGuard and advanced side impact protection

Advansafix i-Size also features Britax-Romer's SecureGuard that helps to protect your child's abdominal area with the addition of a 4th contact point to the 3-point seat belt, helping to reduce abdominal forces by up to 35% in the event of a front-on collision. Additionally, Advansafix i-Size features Advanced Side Impact Protection (SICT) to reduce impact forces by minimising the distance between the car and the car seat and offer superior protection to your child in the event of a side collision. To activate this protection, simply adjust the SICT on the side of the car seat closest to the door.

The V-shaped headrest featured in the Advansafix i-Size car seat ensures optimal protection while simultaneously offering your child ultimate comfort. For your convenience, the headrest and harness can be easily adjusted from the front of the seat to suit your child's height as they continue to grow. The EasyRecline feature is suitable for all ages and allows you to adjust the seat to find the perfect position for your little one even when they are in the seat. It can also be adjusted without having to re-adjust the top tether. 

The top tether minimises the rotation of the car seat to reduce possible head and neck injuries. It offers great stability and security thanks to its twin anchorage points. Advansafix i-Size also comes with a removable and machine washable seat cover so that you can easily clean up any messes or spills that occur on the road.
